Hesperus win Intermediate Div. Debate!

Hesperus defeated Port Jackson in the final of intermediate Div. Debate last night as they narrowly defeated the motion that 'Britain should recognise the individuals right to choose an assisted death'

There was great support from both Houses and some excellent contributions from the audience. However, particular praise should go to the winning team: Oliver Newcombe, Philip Garnier and Ellen White. All three were well prepared and spoke confidently. Philip was awarded the best speaker prize.
