Hesperus Muster

Praise
  • Well done to the 1XV Rugby players and everyone who supported them last Wednesday. A great victory against The Oratory. Joe Holloran and Will Read, in particular, deserve a special mention. Due to injury they were unable to play but remained positive and supported the team wholeheartedly despite their disappointment.
  • Olly Rogers performed very well at the St. Cecilia's Concert last Thursday.
  • Well done to the boys who received Distinctions and the Silver D of E Awards in Assembly yesterday.
Room Inspection - Mr Bamforth (18/11/14)
  • Mr Bamforth awarded no 10/10 - what would you expect from a former Macquarie Housemaster!
  • He would like to see more inspirational quotes in rooms and pupils working in rooms when he comes in.

College Sunday

Harry Farrant spoke to the boys about the upcoming parade. If we do well then we have a chance of wining the Parade Cup. No. 1 uniform to be perfect and let's work hard during parade practice this week!

Thought for the Week

Joe Holloran (Chief of College) spoke to the boys about preparation and used the example of former Ireland Rugby player, Brian O'Driscoll, whose preparation was always meticulous. Joe challenged the house to go the extra mile and surprise teachers with extra work or early submission of prep!
