- Welcome Back - this half of term is only 6 weeks long so we must give our full effort to everything we do. Hesperus enjoyed a great first half of term; we must not become complacent and let's make sure we enjoy even more success.
- Congratulations to Rory Findlay who won the Spanish National Wakeboarding event during half-term. This is a brilliant achievement.
- Commendations - There will be a pizza night for the whole house if we win the Commendation table this term. Keep up the excellent work!
- Evenings - The Music School is now open on A Monday and Thursday evening from 20.30-21.30.
- This Weekend - There is a College Disco (19.30 - 21.30) and Medway for 6 Form (20.30 - 22.00) on Saturday night. Day boys welcome to attend.
- Winter Routine - Boarders cannot walk to the village on a Wednesday afternoon during Winter Routine but there will be a minibus run to the village at 17.00 every Wednesday.
- Remembrance Sunday - Let's make sure that Parade Practice this week and our uniform on Sunday is excellent. Everyone is expected to wear a poppy this week (until 11 November) - please donate £1 and you can then replace poppies when they are lost.
- Musters this term - Mr Paynter, Mr Phillips, Joe Holloran and Harry Farrant will all give presentations in the next four Musters of this term. It will be good to hear from someone else for a change!
- Netflix - When a new employee begins working at Netflix they are shown a powerpoint on the Values and Culture of the company. The main message of the pp is 'Real company values are the behaviours and skills that we particularly value in fellow employees'. I want Hesperus to have a similar approach to our culture and values. We value hard work, friendship and commitment to the our friends, the College and Division - Hesperoids who demonstrate this should be valued.
