Praise
  • Harry Farrant congratulated the boys on their efforts on Remembrance Sunday. The Parade result was good (2nd to St. George) and everyone looked really smart. With one parade left this term we are in a good position in the Parade Cup.
  • Well done to the Marching Band who played in the Village Parade on Saturday. A special mention to Tom Perring who performed the Last Post - this must be one of the most challenging things to do with so many people listening!
  • Well done to the boys who played Rugby on Saturday and well done to the 1XV squad who appeared on BT Sport last night!
  • Good Luck to the 1XV and 15A in their Natwest Cup matches tomorrow.
Notices
  • CCF Field Day takes place on Thursday.
  • The School Council meet today at 14.00
  • Following the House Council meeting last week we now have a new Kettle and BT Sport. Issues with Showers should be taken to School Council today.
  • Please ensure we are all wearing poppies and silent when we enter the Chapel for the College Remembrance Service today.

Thanks to Cameron Pearson for taking these excellent photos of the Remembrance Sunday parade.

Remembrance Sunday Parade Scores

Hesperus came 2nd in the parade scores today (just 0.5 points behind St. George). Well done to Harry Farrant and the Upper Sixth who led practice throughout the week. The 3 Form also deserve a special mention as they coped very well with the slow march. It was great to have the 3 Form marching with the Division for the first time.

One more parade this term!

Rory Findlay - Spanish Wakeboarding Champion!

Massive congratulations to Rory Findlay who won the Open Men’s Division at the Spanish National Wakeboarding Championships in Marbella on Sunday 2 November.

It was the first men’s competition Rory has taken part in and his style, technicality and overall performance won over the judges, who classed him as the best of more than 60 competitors over the course of the weekend.

Here's a picture of him receiving his medal and the impressive trophy he won!!!
