Rugby
Well done to Adam Harris, Ben Hart and Rory Findlay who were part of the 15A Rugby team which drew 12-12 against Canford School on Saturday.

The Hesperus 100% Run
There were 18 of us who ran this morning - a really good way to start the day. I hope some 4 Form and more 3 Form will join us next week!

Hesperus House Scholar Jack Earl awarded the student of the week prize to Hugo Dwerryhouse for his sustained effort and dedication to pursuing academic excellence.

Hesperus Muster

It has been an excellent start to the term. The atmosphere in Hesperus has been outstanding, uniform standards have been high and the quality of prep very good. Please maintain your efforts.

Commendations

Student of the Week
  • This is awarded to Tom Hird for his continued efforts and outstanding approach to College life.
Notices
  • Jack Earl has been appointed Hesperus' House Scholar
  • Room keys have been ordered and will be here by the end of the week
  • Please make sure you sign out when leaving the house after prep. You must also sign back in upon your return
  • 5-a-side football starts on Tuesday (3 & 4 Form) and Thursday (5 & 6 Form) at 20.30
  • We must begin rehearsals for Div. Music at the start of next week. Nat Rennie is leading Hesperus' effort
  • The Hesperus 100% run begins next Tuesday morning at 07.00
College Sunday

Please make sure shoes are polished and No.1 uniform is in top order for this week's College Sunday. We have parade practise on Wednesday and Friday - please ensure marching is first rate.

Div. Paintball

Hesperus enjoyed an excellent day of paintball on Sunday. We played Macquarie, Harbinger and Port Jackson in elimination games. The results of the games don't matter and the important thing is that all the students had a great time!

Welcome Back
  • The new 3 Form have made an excellent start and I know everyone will make the feel part of Hesperus very quickly.
  • Rylan Li and Charlie Riley have joined the 4 Form
  • George Liu has joined the L6
Lat year was a very good one and we can be proud of our achievements - lets make sure 2013-14 is even better. We have an excellent Division and we should all be excited about the year ahead.

Uniform
  • It is really important we set high standards from the very start of the year. There is no excuse for poor uniform and lets make sure we are known as the smartest Division in the College.
