- Welcome back - I hope you all had a great holiday and are feeling refreshed and ready for a busy second half of term.
- Please remember to maintain high standards of effort, uniform and punctuality.
- We are now in Winter Routine. This means games begins at 3.30 and Enrichment time begins at 5.00. You still need to register in Hesperus at 5.45 before going home or to supper.
- Tutor Salute has been extended to Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 3.00. This will allow you more opportunity to see your Tutor during the week.
- A reminder to walk along the sides of the Parade Ground - it is getting dark early and it can be hard to spot pupils in your dark uniform.
- A reminder that skateboards are not to be used on campus from Monday - Saturday. Full boarders can use them on a Sunday.
- There will be a Sunday trip to Reading for boarders. More details to follow.
- The 1XV are playing Churcher's College on Friday night at Newbury RFC. Kick off is 7.30.
- All boarders are expected to support the boys
- We are leaving at 6.30 on coaches and should be back by 9.30.
Hesperus Chief - Seb Bearn
- Seb spoke to the house about the importance of Remembrance Sunday. We must ensure our uniform is perfect and we are working hard on our marching this week.
Mrs Waller is clearly a strict marker! Well done to the few boys who received 10/10: Ed Chapman, Rory Findlay, Tom Perring.
Merits
Another excellent week with Hesperus receiving 74 Merits - the top score once again! Well done top all the boys who received recognition of their excellent work. In particular, Aldwyn Day (5), Mo Rizwan (5), Sam Holloway (4) and Louis Winter (4).
