Hesperus Muster

Praise
  • Well doe to the boys who received 1XV rugby ties and Louis Winter and Sam Holloway for receiving their Drama certificates yesterday.
  • The Headmaster's XV has been published - well done to Olly Rogers, Ben Hart and Nick Riley for their selection. They receive a milkshake voucher for Food Kick in the village.
Notices
  • The Falklands Battle Day Service takes place on Saturday 5 December. Mr Hearn would like to take around 10 boys, who won't be playing rugby, who could attend.
  • A reminder that L6 pupils who have a study period during period 4, should go to lunch at 12.45.
  • IT Privacy - if you need to Face Time or Skype someone please check with your roommate that it is a suitable time. It's important we respect each other's privacy.
  • We are going to be focusing on uniform this week - please get it right.

  • Ed Winter will be leading parade this Sunday so let's work on our dressing and make sure No. 1 uniform is perfect please.
  • The theme for the Christmas Party is Star Wars.

WJB failed to award any 10/10! However, the top score in the house was Ollie Newcombe with 9.5.

Merits

A very good week with Hesperus coming second (Illawarra were top). I think we're now top of the Merit table. Let's make sure we stay there!

Flag Value Awards

The U6 awarded Flag Value awards to Tom Nash (selflessness and kindness), Charlie King (industry and kindness) and Adam Cook (initiative and selflessness).

Student of the Week

Finn Slevin awarded the Elvis Trophy to Charlie King for his consistent effort and excellent behaviour. Well done Charlie!

After Muster the boys picked names for this year's Secret Santa. Gifts will be given at the Christmas Party.
