Notices
  • Rooms will be used by the OP Society during half-term. Therefore, linen must be given to Gail and all clothes, books and valuables packed / locked away.
  • If students are attending the PPA Ball please let SCH know straight after half-term.
  • A reminder to international students about the Food from Around the World evening on the first Saturday after half-term - bring in a snack from your homeland.
  • The boys were read parts of the Anti-Bullying Policy and SCH pointed out where they can find this in the house.
  • Jonnie Batchelor wished the guys a good half-term and told everyone to have a rest.
Thoughts for after Half-Term
  • Evening Events: Please have a think about evening events that we can hold in Hesperus. Ideas so far include: Quiz Night, Poker Night, Real Ale Night (U6 only).

  • SCH spoke to the boys about the identify of Hesperus - what does Hesperus stand for? The nature of 'banter' was also discussed and how 'one man's banter can be another man's bullying'. There is an interesting article on Saracens Rugby Club which addresses both of these points - it can be found here
